We are very lucky to regularly hear the familiar twit twoo of this beautiful bird at night here on the farm, although this particular bird was drawn from photographs taken at a wildlife park, where it was very busy watching a small mammal scurrying about in the long grass near its perch. Drawn using pastels on UART sanded pastel paper this piece is mounted and framed in a wooden frame behind a superclear Perspex glazing ready to hang in its new home. It has attracted much interest and compliments when displayed so I’m sure it wont take long to find a home.
